One of the attractions of opening a photography studio at Smithbrook Kilns near Cranleigh was the community of small businesses and artisans on site.
We’ve spent the past few months getting to know as many of our business neighbours as possible.
An idea we were keen to execute was to work collaboratively with some of these small businesses to host a styled fashion photography shoot.
After identifying a handful of businesses on site who were keen to get involved, we worked together to establish some themes for the shoot.
We hired a model, Saffron Whyton, who spent a couple of hours on site working through a variety of outfit and jewellery changes, as we adjusted the accompanying set too.
A two-hour photo shoot was able to yield three distinct themes, with a couple of looks within each, providing a gallery of photographs for sharing by the various brands involved.
My thanks to The Tog Boutique for providing the fashion, Simon Pure and Jon Dibben for the jewellery, The Edge of the Florist for floristry and candles, and Surrey Wedding Company for the props.
